Advanced technology & equipment launched for good products (PP1)

The 300,000 ton-per-year polypropylene production line (PP1) employs Sinopec’s second-generation loop-tube polypropylene process technology and utilizes domestically produced N-series, CS, or DQ catalysts. The unit features a series-connected dual-loop-tube reactor capable of producing polypropylene homopolymers and random copolymers, while the series-connected gas-phase fluidized-bed reactor produces impact-resistant copolymers. The unit is designed to produce full range of natural-color polypropylene pellets, comprising 70% homopolymer, 20% random copolymer, and 10% impact copolymer, totaling more than 50 product grades.
